NovaGuard Electronics is a leading innovator in advanced electronic components. We are hiring a Quality Control Engineer to join our Singapore team and drive product excellence across all stages of the lifecycle.
The Quality Control Engineer will partner with manufacturing, product development and suppliers to ensure products meet internal specifications and external regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes hands on inspection, process monitoring, and data driven decision making.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement inspection plans and acceptance criteria for components and final assemblies
- Lead in process control activities including SPC and trend analysis
- Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and drive corrective actions
- Coordinate internal and supplier audits and manage nonconformance resolution
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve yield and efficiency
- Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable GMP/GLP standards
- Mentor junior QA staff and promote a culture of quality
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control within electronics or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality tools such as Six Sigma and SPC
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP and industry regulatory requirements
- Proficient with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab) and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced production environment and maintain meticulous attention to detail
