We are seeking a results-driven Quality Control Engineer to own QA processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure product excellence from prototyping through high-volume production.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement QC inspection plans for incoming, in-process, and final product stages.
- Lead non-conforming material investigations and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.
- Analyze SPC data to monitor process capability and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design teams to resolve quality issues and optimize product design for testability.
- Maintain calibration program for inspection tools and measurement equipment.
- Prepare and present quality metrics and reports to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Mentor junior QC technicians and foster a culture of quality and accountability.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on quality control experience in high-precision manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods (SPC, MSA, Gage R&R) and problem-solving (Root Cause Analysis).
- Experience with ISO 9001, GMP/GLP as applicable, and CAPA processes.
- Proficiency with quality inspection tools (CMM, calipers, micrometers) and calibration management.
- Excellent data analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
