NovaCraft Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Specialist to join our Austin, Texas team. This role focuses on ensuring product quality across all stages of manufacturing. You will partner with engineering, production, and supplier teams to uphold our quality standards and deliver reliable products to customers.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control plans for manufacturing processes
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections
- Collect and analyze quality data to monitor process capability (SPC)
- Lead root cause analysis and CAPA for defects
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal SOPs
- Conduct internal audits and assist with supplier audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and rework
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies including ISO 9001, SPC, and Six Sigma
- Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and data analysis (Excel, Minitab)
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques and CAPA processes
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications
- Willingness to travel up to 10% if needed
