Join NovaTech Precision as a Quality Control Specialist and help drive product excellence across our cutting-edge manufacturing operations in Chicago. This full-time role combines hands-on inspection with data-driven quality assurance to ensure every part meets the highest standards.
You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to uphold regulatory compliance, implement CAPA initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute quality control plans and inspection protocols for raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
- Perform statistical sampling, data collection, and analysis to identify trends, variations, and root causes.
- Collaborate with production to implement corrective actions and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and waste.
- Lead GMP/ISO-9001 quality practices, document control, and audit readiness.
- Review specifications, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Train operators and QA staff on inspection techniques, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control/assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of QC tools (MSA, SPC, DOE) and quality management systems (ISO 9001, GMP).
- Proficient data analysis skills using Excel, Minitab, or similar software.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, and process documentation accurately.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
