Join NorthGate Precision Manufacturing as a Quality Control Specialist in Charlotte, NC. You will partner with cross-functional teams to safeguard product quality from raw materials through finished goods. This role blends hands-on QC testing with data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement standard quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Perform inspections and testing using validated methods, recording results accurately in the LIMS/ERP system.
- Monitor process control plans and SPC charts to identify trends and prevent defects.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to root-cause defects and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, and applicable regulatory requirements through internal audits and documentation.
- Prepare clear, data-driven QC reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Train and mentor operators on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve yield.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of quality control experience in manufacturing or biotech environments.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methods (SPC, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis) and statistical tools.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and GMP compliance; familiarity with internal auditing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel, databases, and QA software/ERP systems.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality, able to stand or lift as required.
