Responsibility

  • Develop and implement standard quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Perform inspections and testing using validated methods, recording results accurately in the LIMS/ERP system.
  • Monitor process control plans and SPC charts to identify trends and prevent defects.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to root-cause defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, and applicable regulatory requirements through internal audits and documentation.
  • Prepare clear, data-driven QC reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor operators on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve yield.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of quality control experience in manufacturing or biotech environments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methods (SPC, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis) and statistical tools.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and GMP compliance; familiarity with internal auditing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel, databases, and QA software/ERP systems.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality, able to stand or lift as required.
