Responsibility

  • Conduct incoming material inspections and verify vendor quality against specifications and certificates of conformity.
  • Perform in-process quality checks during production runs to identify defects and deviations.
  • Document non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and track CAPA effectiveness.
  • Analyze quality data using basic statistical methods to identify trends and root causes.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to optimize processes and reduce scrap.
  • Assist in internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and GMP standards.
  • Support the release of finished goods by verifying packaging, labeling, and traceability.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and generate regular quality performance reports.

Qualification

  • 2+ years of quality control or quality assurance experience in manufacturing or medical devices.
  • Strong attention to detail with a systematic, data-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies, testing, and documentation practices (SOPs, work instructions).
  • Experience with ISO 9001, GMP, or related standards; knowledge of Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis; experience with MES or LIMS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred.
