QuantaNova Institute is seeking a highly skilled physicist to join our Advanced Quantum Systems team in Mountain View, CA. The role focuses on experimental and theoretical research in quantum sensing, superconducting qubits, and quantum information processing. You will work alongside leading scientists to push the boundaries of physics and translate discoveries into real-world technologies.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize experiments in quantum sensing and superconducting qubits
- Develop data analysis pipelines using Python, MATLAB, and associated visualization tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate physical insights into practical applications
- Publish findings in high-impact journals and present results at conferences
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation, cryogenic systems, and vacuum equipment
- Plan and manage research projects, milestones, and documentation
- Mentor graduate students, interns, and junior researchers
Qualification
- PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent research experience
- Strong background in quantum mechanics and quantum information concepts
- Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems and low-temperature measurements
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB; experience with LabVIEW or similar tooling
- Excellent scientific writing and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
- U.S. work authorization or eligibility to work in the United States
