Michael Page is partnering with a market-leading global business to appoint a Regional ERP Finance Lead for Australasia. This is a senior, strategic role based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for standardizing and optimizing ERP-driven finance processes across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader APAC region.
In this role, you will own the regional ERP finance program and partner with IT, Shared Services, and business leaders to design, implement, and optimize financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, intercompany, and consolidation). You will drive data integrity, robust controls, and timely reporting to support management decision-making and statutory compliance. You will lead the regional close, consolidations, and the monthly forecast process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across markets.
You will influence the ERP roadmap, define governance and controls, and manage cross-functional projects across multiple jurisdictions. This position offers significant visibility and the opportunity to shape the finance technology agenda while developing a high-performing regional finance team.

Responsibility
- Lead regional ERP finance agenda for Australasia, aligning with Group finance strategy.
- Oversee ERP system governance, data integrity, and close processes across multiple entities.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, intercompany, and consolidation).
- Drive standardization of financial controls, policies, and reporting across the region.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles including consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
- Lead FP&A activities: budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and management reporting for Australasia.
- Support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and statutory filings in local jurisdictions.
- Mentor and develop regional finance teams; partner with business leaders to drive performance improvements.
Qualification
- Strong track record in regional ERP governance and finance leadership within multinational organizations.
- Deep experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and financial consolidation tools.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, statutory reporting, internal controls, and audit processes.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with IT and business stakeholders across Australasia.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a diverse, matrixed environment.
- Business partnering mindset with ability to influence at senior levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (CPA, CA, CFA) preferred.
