Responsibility

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and documentation of patient needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely, and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to develop and implement care plans.
  • Monitor patient status, vital signs, and changes in condition; respond to emergencies promptly.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, discharge instructions, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in infection control and safety protocols.
  • Support a positive, patient-centered environment and uphold professional standards.

Qualification

  • Current California Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; associate degree accepted with strong clinical progression.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ acute care hospital experience; new graduates considered with alternative pathway.
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS certification strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR); experience with Epic or similar systems.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong patient advocacy and commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
