Responsibility
- Operate the POS system to process orders, payments, and issue receipts accurately.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, give correct change, and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
- Balance the cash register at shift end, reconcile transactions, and report discrepancies.
- Provide friendly, excellent customer service; greet guests, answer questions, and upsell menu items when appropriate.
- Take dine-in and take-out orders, coordinate with the kitchen for timely and accurate preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized cash wrap area and adhere to cash handling and security procedures.
- Collaborate with servers and management to ensure accurate orders and seamless guest experiences.
Qualification
- 1+ year of cashier or POS experience in hospitality, retail, or food service.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail for accurate transactions.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard POS software.
- Trustworthy with cash handling; demonstrated integrity and reliability.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
