Michael Page is actively seeking an experienced RTR GL Analyst to join our finance team and support the US region from our office in Petaling Jaya. This is a hands-on, growth oriented role designed for a results-driven accounting professional who can deliver accurate financial data, maintain robust internal controls, and partner with global stakeholders to meet tight close deadlines. In this role you will own the record to report process for the US region, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant financial reporting. You will manage general ledger activities, monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany activities while applying solid accounting standards and governance. The position offers exposure to global process improvement initiatives, ERP systems and cross functional collaboration across finance teams in multiple time zones. You will also contribute to SOX compliance, policy updates, and the refinement of control activities to reduce risk.

Responsibility
- Own end to end record to report cycle for the US region from Malaysia including month end close and GL reconciliations
- Prepare, review and post journal entries and adjusting entries with accuracy
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany transactions to ensure clean close
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards and maintain strong internal controls
- Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to gather data, provide analysis and support audit requirements
- Drive process improvements and automation opportunities within the RTR process and ERP system (such as SAP or Oracle)
- Deliver timely financial statements and management reporting with clear variance analysis
- Support external auditors and finance leadership with accurate reporting and documentation
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications such as CPA ACCA CMA are preferred
- 3+ years of RTR GL experience in a multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations and month end close
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Oracle or Workday and strong Excel skills
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and local regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work across time zones and with cross functional teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a proactive problem solving approach
