Join La Filipina Uy Gongco Group Of Companies as a SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant. You will bridge business requirements with SAP technology, lead end-to-end FI/CO configurations, and partner with stakeholders to optimize financial processes in a dynamic Manila-based team.
As a functional expert in SAP FI/CO, you will oversee requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, and user training. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with controlling and other modules, uphold data integrity, and support the financial close and reporting cycles. Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end SAP FI/CO configuration and implementation efforts (GL, AR/AP, Asset Accounting, CCA) to meet business requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders to perform requirements gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and change requests.
- Design, customize, test, and document SAP FI/CO solutions; oversee data migration, cutover plans, and data validation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (controlling, AM, SD/MM, ABAP/Basis) to ensure seamless integration and data integrity.
- Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials; lead end-user training and post-go-live support.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements; monitor financial closing processes and reporting.
- Evaluate system enhancements and advise on best practices; stay current with SAP releases and roadmaps (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to project governance and risk management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-6 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO functional experience in ECC or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Strong knowledge of GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, New GL, CCA, and FI/CO integrations with CO, SD, MM.
- Experience with SAP configuration, master data management, and data migration tools (LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment; willingness to travel as needed.
- SAP certifications in FI/CO are a plus.
- Experience in training and post-go-live support.
