Responsibility
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and continuous progress.
- Partner with the Product Owner to groom and maintain an actionable backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Coach teams on Scrum practices, servant leadership, and Agile values to improve velocity and quality.
- Identify and remove impediments; shield the team from distractions and manage risks impacting delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across development, QA, UX/design, and operations to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Monitor sprint metrics, forecast delivery, and report progress to stakeholders with transparency and accuracy.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating effective retrospectives and implementing process enhancements.
- Promote quality by supporting Definition of Done and ensuring robust testing strategies are in place.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and servant leadership principles.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar Agile tooling; adept at backlog management and writing clear user stories.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical problem-solver with a data-driven mindset and comfort with metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Ability to work in or relocate to Makati, Philippines; willingness to contract and adapt to a dynamic environment.
