NovaLedger Solutions is hiring a proactive Senior Accountant to join our NYC finance team. You will own the accuracy of monthly close processes, manage reconciliations, and provide insightful reporting to stakeholders. As a Senior Accountant, you will contribute to robust financial controls, drive efficiency in close cycles, and partner with business leaders to deliver clear, actionable financial information.
Responsibility
- Manage monthly and quarterly close processes ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analyses
- Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for management and external stakeholders
- Monitor internal controls and assist in risk assessment and control improvements
- Collaborate with FP&A and operations to analyze variances and provide actionable insights
- Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits and internal audits
- Assist with process automation and ERP data integrity initiatives
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis; attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple initiatives
