Harborline Financial Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our New York office. This role partners with finance leadership to provide accurate financial reporting, complex analysis, and robust controls. Responsibility
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP; explain variances to management.
- Maintain general ledger integrity, perform reconciliations, and monitor account classifications.
- Support internal and external audits, SOX controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement effective internal controls and process improvements.
- Collaborate with FP&A to provide meaningful financial analysis and business insights.
- Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, and Operations to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting experience in corporate, public, or consulting environments.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
