Responsibility
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable with strong internal controls and vendor relationships.
- Support external auditors during year-end audit and internal control testing.
- Analyze variances, provide management with actionable insights, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain fixed assets, depreciation, and monthly reconciliations.
- Continually improve processes to optimize financial workflows and control environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment, preferably in tech or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and month-end close processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with internal controls and SOX compliance is a plus.
