Responsibility
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow analysis.
- Conduct financial analysis and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring complete accuracy and compliance.
- Implement process improvements and accounting best practices.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and assist in their professional development.
- Stay current on changes in accounting regulations and industry trends.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA highly preferred).
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a public firm or corporate environment.
- Thorough knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and discretion.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
