NovaLedger Solutions is a premium financial services firm delivering accurate, timely accounting and strategic insights to clients across industries. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Singapore office and lead vital accounting operations with integrity and precision.
As a Senior Accountant, you will partner with finance leadership to ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards, manage month end close, and contribute to process improvements that boost accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibility
- Lead monthly and quarterly closes for multiple entities with accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and GAAP, supporting external audits and comprehensive management reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, cash reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets.
- Maintain strong internal controls, support risk assessments, and ensure SOX compliance where applicable.
- Coordinate global consolidation and reporting packages, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with tax, treasury, and compliance teams to ensure timely filings and tax compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements and ERP optimizations to increase efficiency and data integrity.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience in mid to large organizations with IFRS/GAAP exposure.
- Strong technical proficiency in financial reporting, consolidation, and audit readiness.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, MS Dynamics, or equivalent).
- Excellent Excel skills and data analysis capabilities; ability to work with large data sets.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills; ability to operate in a fast paced environment.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
