Responsibility
- Lead monthly and quarterly close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement disclosures.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities with proper coding and vendor management.
- Support internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors to provide necessary documentation.
- Analyze financial data, perform variance analyses, and present actionable insights to management.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance.
- Collaborate with budgeting and forecasting teams to improve processes and systems.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred or in progress.
- 3+ years of accounting experience; public accounting a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel.
- Experience with month end close, financial consolidation, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
