We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the monthly close, consolidate global subsidiaries, and ensure strict adherence to GAAP and internal controls. In this role you will partner with FP&A, Tax, and Audit teams to deliver accurate financial statements, maintain the general ledger, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and data quality. Responsibility
- Lead the monthly close process for US entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit activities.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure data integrity across multiple subsidiaries.
- Identify and implement process improvements to close timelines and reporting accuracy.
- Assist with internal control documentation and SOX compliance as applicable.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including month-end close and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP; experience with consolidation and intercompany transactions.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience coordinating with auditors and managing internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
