Prime System Solutions is seeking a results-driven Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team from Metro Manila. As a Senior Accountant, you will own the end-to-end accounting cycle, manage the general ledger, prepare monthly closings, and produce accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local regulations. You will oversee accounts payable and receivable, monitor reconciliations, and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely compliance.
You will drive process improvements, implement robust internal controls, and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will also provide financial analysis to senior leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost containment, and growth. This role requires strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a remote, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end general ledger accounting, including monthly closings, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Ensure compliance with Philippines tax regulations and statutory reporting; coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; provide actionable insights to management.
- Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support audits by providing clear, reliable financial data.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and local Philippine tax regulations; experience with statutory reporting.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities; comfortable working remotely and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
