Join LumenBridge Accounting Solutions as a Senior Accountant in our Singapore office. This role offers exposure to IFRS/GAAP, robust financial reporting, and a fast-paced environment designed for growth. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive accurate financial statements and strengthen internal controls.
Key opportunities include leading the month-end close, enhancing reporting processes, and supporting external audits in collaboration with senior leadership.
Responsibility
- Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash flow forecasting.
- Coordinate statutory reporting, tax filings, and year-end audit support.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and SOX-compliant processes where applicable.
- Collaborate with FP&A to prepare budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses.
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Drive process improvements through ERP optimization (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and automation initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a commercial or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting standards; experience with IFRS 15/16 is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Demonstrated experience with month-end close, consolidated financial reporting, and audit coordination.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement; ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment and adapting to change.
