Join NorthBridge Actuarial Partners as a Senior Actuarial Analyst in New York City. You will work with cross functional teams to deliver data driven insights, support pricing, reserving, and risk modeling across life and health lines. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain pricing and reserving models for life and health portfolios using SQL, R/Python, and Excel.
- Perform experience studies, trend analyses, and validation to improve model accuracy and profitability.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and risk teams to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Prepare actuarial reports, summaries, and presentations for senior leadership and board materials.
- Ensure model governance, documentation, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the knowledge sharing culture within the team.
- Present findings to non technical audiences and drive data driven decision making.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Progress toward or completion of SOA/CAS actuarial exams; 2-5 years of relevant actuarial experience in pricing or reserving.
- Strong SQL skills; proficiency in R or Python; advanced Excel abilities.
- Experience with actuarial software such as Prophet, TAS, or AIR is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills; attention to detail and rigorous documentation.
