Responsibility
- Lead actuarial pricing and reserving analyses for multiple lines of business, evaluating profitability and risk.
- Develop and maintain pricing models using R, Python, and SAS; implement model validation and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with product, underwriting, and finance teams to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Manage experience studies, loss development, and reserve adequacy analyses; present findings to senior management.
- Ensure model governance, documentation, and adherence to regulatory and internal risk controls.
- Forecast annual plan scenarios and support budgeting, capital planning, and capital adequacy assessments.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 1-5 years of actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, or risk analytics; progressing actuarial exams (ASA/FCAS) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in R or Python; experience with SAS and SQL is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of pricing methods, reserving techniques, experience analyses, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PBR, RBC).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
