Responsibility
- Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and risk assessment across multiple lines of business.
- Lead data extraction, cleansing, and validation to ensure model accuracy and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and product teams to shape pricing strategies and product features.
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify financial and risk impacts.
- Prepare and present findings to senior leadership and risk committees with clear recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with actuarial standards, regulatory requirements, and governance processes.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing and model documentation.
Qualification
- 4+ years of actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, or risk analysis within insurance or retirement products.
- ACCA/ASA/CAS or progressing toward professional credentials; strong plan for credential progression.
- Proficiency in actuarial software (R, Python, Excel/VBA, SAS) and database querying (SQL).
- Experience with IFRS 17 or Solvency II is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
