- Build scalable data pipelines, feature stores, experiment tracking, and model monitoring.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate business goals into AI solutions.
- Define evaluation metrics, monitor model performance, and conduct A/B testing and validation.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, contribute to code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
- Drive MLOps initiatives including CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, and observability.
- Ensure model governance, privacy, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field; or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience with production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow; familiarity with JAX is a plus.
- Experience building and deploying ML models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and working with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow).
- Deep understanding of data pipelines, feature stores, data governance, and privacy-preserving techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams.
- Track record of delivering impactful AI projects; publications or patents are a plus.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design capabilities; ability to balance speed and reliability.
