Job description

Join NovaLum AI, a leading innovator in applied intelligence, to design and deliver AI-powered solutions that transform products and customer experiences. This senior role combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership in a fast-growing AI platform.

As part of our AI Platform team, you will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate complex problems into scalable, production-ready ML systems. You will develop end-to-end solutions, from data pipelines and feature stores to model deployment and monitoring, while upholding responsible AI standards.

We value curiosity, collaboration, and impact. If you are ready to shape the future of AI in a supportive, high-performance environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end AI development, from problem framing to deployment and monitoring, across multiple product lines.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and research teams to translate business needs into measurable ML outcomes and success metrics.
  • Design scalable ML/AI systems using Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern data tooling.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, feature stores, and experiment tracking (MLflow, Kubeflow, or equivalent).
  • Implement robust evaluation, bias mitigation, explainability, and privacy-conscious practices.
  • Own model deployment and MLOps processes, including containerization and CI/CD for production models.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, review architecture and code, and promote best practices.
  • Collaborate with platform engineers to ensure reliability, security, and performance in production environments.

Qualification

  • 5+ years in AI/ML engineering or applied research; advanced degree preferred (MS/PhD).
  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and model development lifecycle.
  • Experience with NLP, CV, or RL domains; track record of production-ready models.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed training, data pipelines, Spark/Beam, and feature stores.
  • Proficiency in MLOps, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving, system design, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration; proven ability to mentor others and influence through collaboration.
  • Passion for responsible AI, privacy, and ethical considerations; strong data governance mindset.
