Join Aether Labs, a leading AI startup building practical GenAI platforms for enterprise use. We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, implement, and scale AI systems that deliver real world impact. You will collaborate with a cross functional team to ship production grade AI solutions for customers across finance, healthcare, and technology sectors.
What you will do
- Lead end to end development of GenAI features and AI products from concept to production
- Architect scalable ML systems with emphasis on reliability, latency, and governance
- Design data pipelines, model evaluation, monitoring, and alerting for production AI
- Collaborate with product, design and backend engineers to translate requirements into robust AI solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
- Drive responsible AI practices including bias detection, safety, and compliance
- Experiment with vector databases, retrieval augmented generation, and prompt engineering
- Contribute to open source and publish technical docs and insights
Responsibility
- Lead end to end development of GenAI features and AI products
- Architect scalable ML systems and data pipelines
- Implement robust MLOps for CI CD and monitoring
- Collaborate across product and engineering teams to define AI roadmap
- Mentor engineers and foster best practices in AI safety and governance
- Evaluate and integrate vector databases and RAG techniques
- Publish technical documentation and contribute to research efforts
Qualification
- 8+ years of AI or ML engineering experience with hands on GenAI
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience shipping production AI systems with MLOps and observability
- Hands on experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and scalable data engineering
- Proven collaboration and communication skills; product minded
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; PhD is a plus
