As a Senior Alliances Solutions Engineer in Singapore, you will be at the forefront of Okta's partnership strategy, translating complex business needs into secure, scalable identity solutions. You will collaborate with our global alliances team, field engineers, and regional partners to design, demonstrate, and co-sell identity products that protect users, devices, and data across cloud environments.
Your work will blend deep technical mastery with strategic storytelling—delivering compelling demonstrations, architecture diagrams, and proof-of-concept environments that illustrate the value of Okta Identity Cloud when integrated with partner technologies. You will help customers and partners understand how identity and access management, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, lifecycle management, and API security come together to reduce risk and accelerate onboarding.
In this role, you will own the technical engagement lifecycle with strategic partners in the APAC region, from discovery and solution design to be-proof-of-concept and field enablement. You will develop enablement content, playbooks, and reference architectures that accelerate partner readiness and field success. You will proactively gather feedback, inform product and GTM strategy, and advocate for best practices in security, compliance, and operational excellence. Responsibility
- Lead technical engagements with strategic partners to design, validate, and position Okta-based identity solutions that meet customer needs and security requirements.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and tailored technical proposals to partners and customers.
- Collaborate with sales, solutions engineering, and partner teams to respond to RFPs and competitive scenarios.
- Develop and enable partners through training, enablement sessions, and best-practice playbooks for integrating partners' products with Okta.
- Architect and present scalable identity solutions leveraging SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, API security, and identity governance.
- Represent Okta in partner-scoped presales engagements, ensuring alignment with customer security requirements and compliance standards.
- Capture market feedback, contribute to partner enablement content, and support joint go-to-market initiatives.
Qualification
- 5+ years in technical presales, solutions engineering, or field engineering in the identity, security, or cloud IAM space.
- Hands-on experience with Okta or other IDaaS solutions, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, SCIM provisioning.
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures, APIs, integration patterns, and security best practices for SaaS apps.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to technical and business audiences.
- Experience working with partners, alliances, or channel teams and a track record of driving joint success.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support partner activities in the APAC region; comfortable with remote collaboration.
