LuminaChem Labs is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic R&D team in Boston. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advance pharmaceutical science, lead method development, and contribute to the delivery of high quality medicines.
In this role you will design, validate, and transfer analytical methods using HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS and NMR. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support product development from concept to regulatory submission.

Responsibility
- Lead development and optimization of analytical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, NMR) for complex pharmaceutics.
- Plan and execute method validation and transfer to QC/QA; ensure GLP compliance.
- Design experiments, interpret data, and generate technical reports for regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate cross functionally with R&D, formulation, manufacturing, and QA teams.
- Oversee instrument maintenance and calibration programs; manage instrument performance data.
- Mentor and train junior scientists; supervise project timelines and milestones.
- Stay current with industry trends and implement new analytical technologies.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
- ≥5 years of hands on analytical chemistry experience in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
- Proficiency with HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, and NMR; experience with method development and validation.
- Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP, QA documentation, and data integrity principles.
- Experience with data analysis software (Empower, MassHunter, ChemStation, or similar) and statistical tools.
- Excellent scientific writing and oral communication; ability to present to cross functional teams.
- Project management skills and ability to lead multiple experiments concurrently.
- Detail oriented with a commitment to quality, compliance, and safety.
