Responsibility
- Lead development and validation of analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS) to support product development and release.
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation.
- Maintain and optimize SOPs, contributing to GLP and GMP compliance and audit readiness.
- Design experiments, analyze data, interpret results, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior scientists and technicians; support training and safety programs in the laboratory.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and QA to troubleshoot analytical issues and scale up processes.
- Manage instrument calibration, maintenance, qualification, and documentation to sustain a reliable analytical platform.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry; 3-8 years of relevant industry experience depending on degree.
- Strong expertise with HPLC/UPLC, GC, GC-MS, and LC-MS instrumentation; proven method development and validation capabilities.
- Experience in GLP/GMP environments with robust documentation practices and QA processes.
- Proficiency with data analysis software (ChemStation, Empower, Mass Hunter) and strong data integrity practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex data to cross-functional teams.
- Proven project leadership abilities and a track record of mentoring junior staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, quality-focused mindset.
