NovaAnalytics Solutions is seeking a Senior Applied Statistician to join our Boston analytics team. You will design and implement advanced statistical models, lead experimental design, and translate complex analytics into actionable business insights for clients across finance, healthcare, and technology.
As a key member of our analytics group, you will collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure rigorous methodology, reproducible results, and scalable deployments.

Responsibility
- Lead design and execution of statistical models and analyses for multiple projects across sectors.
- Design and analyze experiments and A/B tests to optimize product features and business strategies.
- Develop and validate predictive models, ensuring calibration, discrimination, and robustness.
- Collaborate with data engineers and software teams to operationalize analytics and deploy models in production.
- Communicate results and insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear reports, dashboards, and visuals.
- Ensure methodological rigor, reproducibility, and thorough documentation of all analyses.
- Mentor junior statisticians and contribute to team-wide best practices and training.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of applied statistics experience in industry or academia.
- Strong proficiency in R and Python; experience with SAS and SQL is a plus.
- Expertise in experimental design, regression modeling, time-series, Bayesian methods, and data visualization.
- Experience delivering actionable insights to stakeholders and translating analytics into business impact.
- Experience deploying models into production and validating results with robust governance.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
