NovaAnalytica, a leader in applied statistics and data science, is seeking a Senior Applied Statistician to design experiments, develop predictive models, and deliver decision oriented insights for clients across healthcare, finance, and technology sectors. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to translate complex data into actionable outcomes.

Responsibility
- Design and execute statistically rigorous studies and experiments across projects
- Develop and validate predictive and prescriptive models using regression, GLMs, time series, and machine learning
- Lead exploratory data analysis, identify insights, and communicate findings to non technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to translate business questions into statistical analysis plans
- Ensure reproducibility through robust documentation, version control, and code reviews
- Interpret results with uncertainty quantification and provide actionable recommendations
- Mentor junior statisticians and contribute to methodological advances
- Present results to clients and internal leadership with clear visuals and storytelling
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in statistics, biostatistics, econometrics, or related field
- 5+ years applying statistics in industry with hands on modeling and data analysis
- Strong proficiency in R and Python for statistical analysis and visualization
- Experience with experimental design, A/B testing, Bayesian methods, and causal inference
- Proficiency with SQL and data querying; experience with data warehouses
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and collaborate across teams
