Responsibility
- Lead the development of applied statistical models to solve business problems across marketing, product, and operations.
- Design and analyze experiments and A/B tests to drive rigorous decision-making.
- Build, validate, and monitor predictive models; communicate performance and limitations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, reproducibility, and scalable analytics pipelines.
- Translate complex statistical results into clear, actionable business insights for non-technical audiences.
- Mentor junior analysts and statisticians; contribute to code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and reproducible analysis workflows.
Qualification
- MS in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related field; PhD preferred
- 3+ years of applied statistics, data science, or analytics experience
- Strong proficiency in R; Python (pandas, scikit-learn) considered a major plus
- Experience with SQL and data wrangling in large datasets
- Expertise in experimental design, causal inference, and model evaluation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Track record of delivering business impact through data-driven decisions
