Join Apex Valuation Partners as a Senior Asset Valuation Analyst in New York City. You will lead independent valuation engagements for real assets, intangibles, and portfolios, applying rigorous methodologies and delivering decision-ready insights to clients and deal teams.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end asset valuation engagements for real assets, IP, and portfolios using DCF, income, and market-based approaches.
- Develop, audit, and maintain robust financial models in Excel, with optional Python/R enhancements.
- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports aligned with IFRS, GAAP, IVS, and ASA standards.
- Present findings to clients and internal stakeholders, defending methodologies and recommendations.
- Collaborate with deal teams, auditors, and risk management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior analysts, review work products, and contribute to business development efforts.
- Stay current on market trends, data sources, and valuation frameworks affecting asset classes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of professional valuation experience in asset valuation, corporate finance, investment banking, or related areas.
- Strong proficiency in valuation methodologies: DCF, multiples, precedent transactions, sum-of-the-parts; solid IFRS/GAAP knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modeling; programming (Python/R) a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; client management and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and client expectations in a fast-paced environment.
