Join NovaValue Capital as a Senior Asset Valuation Analyst in Singapore. You will lead multifaceted valuation projects across financial assets, real estate, and intangible assets, supporting clients with robust, transparent methodologies.
As part of our Valuation Team, you will build and refine models, analyze market data, and deliver client-ready reports while adhering to IFRS 13 and local standards.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end asset valuation engagements for diverse asset classes, including financial instruments, real estate, and intangibles.
- Develop and maintain cash flow models (DCF, LTM, and alternative approaches) and perform scenario analyses.
- Apply valuation techniques (market, income, cost) and ensure IFRS 13 compliance and local standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to gather data, validate inputs, and present findings.
- Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and management presentations for clients and partners.
- Perform fair value assessments for regulatory filings and financial reporting, including sensitivity testing and risk assessment.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and junior staff to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Stay current on market developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices; contribute to thought leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field; CFA or CA/ CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of asset valuation experience in professional services or financial institutions.
- Strong financial modeling skills including DCF, relative valuation, and option pricing.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), VBA, and at least one programming language (Python or R).
- Experience with valuation software and data sources such as Bloomberg Terminal, S&P Global CapIQ, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS 13 and relevant local valuation standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills with the ability to translate complex concepts clearly.
- Project management experience and ability to lead small teams and mentor junior staff.
