QuantaVal Asset Advisory is a premier independent valuation firm providing credible asset valuations for institutional investors, corporate clients, and regulatory bodies. We are seeking a Senior Asset Valuation Analyst to join our Singapore office. The ideal candidate combines deep financial analysis with strong communication skills to deliver fair value assessments across tangible and intangible assets.
In this role, you will work closely with the Valuation Advisory team to develop robust models, assess market risk, and produce comprehensive reports in compliance with IFRS and IVS standards. You will also participate in client meetings, present findings, and support business development initiatives.
Responsibility
- Lead independent valuations across real estate, machinery, equipment, IP, and portfolios for clients.
- Develop and refine valuation models (DCF, income approach, cost approach, and market comparisons) and perform sensitivity analyses.
- Analyze market data, trends, and risk factors to support robust valuation conclusions.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with IFRS and IVS standards, including disclosures and methodologies.
- Present findings to clients and stakeholders; respond to inquiries and support business development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, tax, legal) on engagements and document governance.
- Mentor junior analysts, ensure quality control, and manage multiple engagements to tight deadlines.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field; professional certifications (CFA, ASA, FRICS) are a plus.
- 5+ years of valuation experience across real assets, financial instruments, and intangible assets.
- Strong financial modeling skills (DCF, LCM, income/cost approaches) and proficiency in Argus, Excel, R, or Python.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, IVS, and valuation standards; experience delivering to clients and regulators.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritise tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail and data governance.
