Join Apex Valuation Partners as a Senior Asset Valuation Analyst in New York City. You will lead complex valuation projects, develop models, and advise stakeholders on asset pricing and impairment testing. This role blends financial modeling, market analysis, and regulatory knowledge to deliver accurate valuations for tangible and intangible assets across sectors.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end asset valuation projects including tangible and intangible assets across multiple industries.
- Develop and maintain robust valuation models (DCF, LBO, real options) and perform scenario analyses.
- Prepare impairment testing analyses in compliance with IFRS 13 and GAAP.
- Coordinate with finance, tax, and risk teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and document methodologies.
- Interpret market data, perform benchmarking, and assess asset-specific risk factors.
- Present valuation results to senior management and external stakeholders with clear, actionable insights.
- Mentor junior analysts, review work product, and ensure high-quality deliverables on tight timelines.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in asset valuation, financial modeling, or corporate finance.
- Strong proficiency in DCF, comparable company analyses, and asset pricing methodologies.
- Expert use of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA) and financial software (Bloomberg, Reuters).
- Knowledge of IFRS 13, GAAP impairment, and fair value measurement standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment in NYC.
