Nova Asset Advisory is seeking a highly analytical Senior Asset Valuation Analyst to join our growing finance team in New York City. You will lead complex valuations across tangible and intangible assets, manage modeling, and support investment decisions for diverse clients.

Responsibility
- Lead and perform independent asset valuations for clients across industries, including tangible assets, intangibles, and portfolio stacks.
- Develop and maintain multi-scenario valuation models using Excel, Python, and specialized software.
- Analyze market data, perform cash flow projections, and estimate discount rates and risk adjustments.
- Prepare valuation reports aligned with IFRS 13, ASC 820, and IVS standards; present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with investment, risk, and finance teams to inform strategic decisions and capital allocation.
- Manage multiple engagements, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high-quality documentation and audit trails.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of valuation methodologies and templates.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in asset valuation, financial modeling, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Excel (incl. VBA), Python or R, and valuation software tools (ARGUS, Valuation Edge, Bloomberg data).
- Strong knowledge of valuation standards (IFRS 13, ASC 820/ASC 606) and corporate finance concepts.
- Excellent quantitative skills, attention to detail, and ability to explain complex analyses clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, work under tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or ASA are a plus.
