As a Senior Automation Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur, you will shape and deliver automation solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and value for the business. In this role, you will work closely with operations, IT, and QA teams to identify automation opportunities, architect robust automation frameworks, and lead the end-to-end lifecycle of automation initiatives—from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. You will champion both automation testing and operational automation, including RPA, scripting, and integration with existing data systems, while ensuring alignment with security, governance, and compliance standards. You will also contribute to building repeatable patterns and best practices that scale across the organization and across markets.

Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing and operational automation solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust automation designs.
- Develop, test, and deploy automation scripts using appropriate tools and languages (e.g., Python, Selenium, RPA platforms).
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize automation performance and reliability; troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure security, data privacy, and compliance in all automation initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior analysts and cross-functional teams.
- Document solutions and maintain comprehensive technical and user documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience in automation, QA, or software testing.
- Strong knowledge of automation and testing tools (e.g., UiPath, Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript; SQL/Database experience.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a track record of delivering high-quality automation solutions.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment in Kuala Lumpur.
