As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain services that power our platform. You will work with a cross-functional team, mentor junior engineers, and help shape our technical direction.
What you’ll do:
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-availability backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to translate requirements into robust software.
- Lead technical design, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
- Ensure reliability, performance, and security; optimize queries and infrastructure.
- Mentor mid-to-senior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Create automated tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Document systems and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and post-mortem analysis.
Responsibility

Qualification
- 5+ years of backend development experience in modern languages (Python, Go, Java)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Deep understanding of REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern development practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setup
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
