AtlasBank Financial Group is seeking a Senior Banking Analyst to join our NYC team. You will translate complex data into actionable insights that drive client solutions, risk management, and growth. This role offers exposure to high-impact portfolios and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
As a pivotal member of our Analytics & Strategy group, you will partner with relationship managers, risk, and finance to deliver robust analyses and recommendations that shape lending, liquidity, and capital strategies.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for loan portfolios, credit metrics, and pricing strategies.
- Perform rigorous risk assessment, scenario analysis, and regulatory stress testing.
- Analyze profitability, cost of funds, and capitalization to optimize capital allocation.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to deliver data-driven client solutions and presentations.
- Build dashboards and insights using SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools.
- Monitor key performance indicators, produce monthly/quarterly reporting, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Support audit and regulatory compliance with accurate documentation and data lineage.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or investment analysis.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization (Tableau/Power BI).
- Experience with financial modeling, credit risk, liquidity risk, and capital adequacy concepts.
- Knowledge of banking regulations (Basel III, Dodd-Frank) and reporting processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, regulatory environment.
