Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end financial risk analyses including credit, liquidity, and market risk reporting; develop dashboards for senior management.
- Own regulatory reporting with FCA and PRA; ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
- Collaborate with Data & Tech to design scalable data models and ETL processes; implement KPI tracking.
- Perform advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis; provide insights to influence business strategy.
- Drive data quality initiatives; implement governance and validation routines.
- Partner with Finance and Risk to support audit readiness and risk control testing.
- Support ad hoc analytics for product and channel growth and performance.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services analytics, risk management, or regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, plus advanced Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Solid knowledge of Basel III/IV frameworks and FCA/PRA regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as FRM or CFA are a plus.
