Responsibility
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for digital retail banking initiatives, including mobile apps, online banking, and payments.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, risk, compliance, marketing, and operations to deliver features on time and within risk appetite.
- Lead customer discovery and validation using analytics, research, and market insights to ensure product-market fit and measurable outcomes.
- Translate business goals into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; drive backlog prioritization using data-driven methods.
- Own success metrics, dashboards, and reporting; monitor adoption, retention, revenue, and cost-to-serve impact.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, data privacy, and operational risk controls are embedded in product design across all features.
- Mentor junior product managers and influence stakeholders at executive levels to align on vision and priorities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or MSc preferred.
- 5-7+ years in product management within retail or digital banking, fintech, or payments.
- Proven track record delivering customer-centric digital banking products with measurable impact on engagement and revenue.
- Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, API integrations, and regulatory/compliance requirements (PSD2, GDPR, AML/KYC).
- Experience in agile environments; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools; ability to translate metrics into strategy.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and A/B testing; strong design thinking orientation.
- Collaborative leadership style and ability to influence across cross-functional teams.
