Responsibility

  • Design and execute organic and inorganic synthesis experiments to deliver high-purity compounds.
  • Develop scalable synthetic routes and optimize reaction conditions for pilot-scale production.
  • Characterize products using NMR, MS, IR, UV-Vis, and other analytical methods.
  • Maintain meticulous lab notebooks, generate technical reports, and ensure GLP/GMP-compliant documentation.
  • Collaborate with R&D, QC, and Manufacturing teams to transfer processes from bench to production.
  • Mentor junior staff, provide training, and cultivate a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Interpret data, troubleshoot experiments, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to IP strategies through literature reviews and invention disclosures.

Qualification

  • Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field; strong preference for PhD.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in medicinal, process, or analytical chemistry.
  • Proficiency with NMR, MS, IR, GC, HPLC, and related analytical tools.
  • Solid track record in designing experiments, analyzing data, and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with GLP/GMP, SOPs, and robust documentation practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Multitasking capability, attention to detail, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Publications, patents, or experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
