Join NexaChem Labs, a leading innovator in specialty chemicals and analytical solutions. We are seeking a motivated Chemist to join our R&D team in Boston, MA. This full-time position focuses on analytical method development, quality control, and collaborative product development.
As a core member of the chemistry group, you will design experiments, analyze data, and drive improvements from concept to scale-up. You will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, QA, and regulatory teams to deliver robust, compliant processes.
Responsibility
- Design, execute, and optimize chemical analyses using GC-MS, HPLC, NMR, FTIR, and UV-Vis instruments.
- Develop and validate analytical methods in alignment with GLP and GMP requirements.
- Interpret experimental data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to transfer processes from development to production.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality systems, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and data integrity per company standards.
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to project planning and timelines.
Qualification
- BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field; MS/PhD preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in analytical chemistry, method development, or QA/QC roles.
- Proficiency with GC-MS, HPLC, NMR, FTIR, UV-Vis instruments and associated data analysis software.
- Strong data interpretation, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP, quality systems, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
