We seek a creative, results-driven chemist who can design, optimize, and scale complex organic reactions, while ensuring robust data and safety standards.
Responsibility
- Lead design and execution of organic synthesis routes from concept to scale-up (mg to kg).
- Optimize reaction conditions, workup, and purification to maximize yield and purity.
- Develop and validate analytical methods (NMR, HPLC, GC-MS) to support characterization and quality control.
- Collaborate with Process Chemistry, Manufacturing, QA/QC, and Regulatory teams to meet project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP, safety protocols, and environmental health standards in the lab.
- Prepare technical reports, experimental plans, and SOPs;present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior chemists and manage daily lab operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Organic Chemistry or related field; 3+ years of industrial experience preferred.
- Proficiency in modern synthetic techniques, protecting group strategies, and reaction optimization.
- Strong command of spectroscopic methods (NMR, IR, MS) and chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC).
- Experience with GMP/GLP environments and lab safety compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across disciplines.
