In this role you will contribute to advancing our product pipeline, ensuring data integrity, and supporting regulatory and quality initiatives in a fast-paced research environment.

Responsibility

  • Lead design and execution of analytical methods (HPLC, GC, NMR, LC-MS) to support product development and quality control.
  • Develop scalable synthesis and purification routes; optimize reaction conditions and transfer processes to manufacturing.
  • Plan, execute, and document experiments per GLP/GMP guidelines; maintain accurate, audit-ready records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Process Development, QC, QA, Formulation) to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Interpret complex data sets, generate technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain instrument performance, calibrations, and safe laboratory practices; drive continuous improvement in methods and workflows.
  • Provide mentorship to junior chemists and interns, contribute to training programs, and support a culture of scientific excellence.

Qualification

  • Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field; PhD preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in analytical chemistry or pharmaceutical R&D; expertise with HPLC, GC, NMR, and LC-MS.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP, QA/QC documentation, and regulatory submission processes.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (ChemDraw, Empower/OpenLAB, Python/R) and statistical methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to design, optimize, and troubleshoot experiments; experience with scale-up and tech transfer is a plus.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Boston with some hybrid flexibility.
