At NimbusTech Cloud Solutions, we design and operate mission-critical cloud platforms for global clients. We seek a Senior Cloud Architect to lead architecture, strategy, and implementation across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will partner with product teams to create scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions that empower our customers to move faster and innovate boldly.
As a senior member of our Cloud Platform team, you will shape multi-cloud architectures, drive modernization initiatives, and mentor a high-performance cloud engineering group. You will champion reliability, security, and operational excellence while aligning technology decisions with business goals.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Define reference architectures, cost governance models, performance baselines, and migration strategies.
- Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to translate requirements into cloud solutions.
- Drive infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi; manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Guide migrations, modernization efforts, and adoption of cloud-native patterns for reliability and observability.
- Establish security, identity/access management, network design, and compliance practices in cloud environments.
- Mentor engineers, lead knowledge-sharing sessions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualification
- 8+ years in cloud architecture/engineering with multi-cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration (3+ years).
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi) and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, cost optimization, and incident response.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate business needs into technical strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
- Experience with migration and modernization projects; track record delivering measurable business outcomes.
