QuantumTech Solutions GmbH is expanding its Berlin-based engineering team. We are seeking a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design scalable cloud infrastructure and drive automation across the software lifecycle. You will collaborate with product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance systems in a fast-growing environment.
This role offers hands-on ownership of cloud platforms, cutting edge tooling, and opportunities to shape our infrastructure strategy.
Responsibility
- Architect and implement scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud with a focus on reliability and security.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and ensure quality.
- Write and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Automate configuration management with Ansible or equivalent tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, reliability, and security of systems.
- Collaborate with developers and SREs to enable scalable and cost-efficient architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on IT or DevOps experience with cloud environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; cloud certifications are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficient scripting skills in Python and Bash, with a focus on automation.
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, IAM, networking, and monitoring.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
